There's too much pressure, too many expectations, too.. few bathrooms." - Anderson CooperI couldn't agree more! That's why I started hosting a 2nd New Year's Eve celebration. At some point in the middle of January, I get the friends (that I wished were with me at the start of the new year) for a party, dressed up in cocktail attire. Decor is cheap after the original celebration, and food is easier to come by. We can watch the Rocking NYE shows if its still on our dvr. Then, at the time we determine is "midnight" we all count down, watch the ball drop on YouTube, and yell 'Happy New Year' to anyone within earshot. My neighbors must think we're crazy... but sometimes waiting for that special New Year's kiss is worth it.
